|Enterprise Architect – Manchester – 3 months contract
I am working with a Leading UK Consultancy, who require an Enterprise Architect to join an established Project Team and assist them in the initial phases on a long-term engagement
This Consultancy are working with a number of NHS Trust’s across the UK, one of which, has tasked them to review their existing PAS (Patient Administration Systems) and EPR (Electronic Patient Records) systems, and propose a way to move this to a new system. The Initial phase of this assignment is 3 months, but once the architecture has been agreed, it could move into a 12-18 months engagement.
The Enterprise Architect will be joining an existing Programme Management Team, and will be assisting with the delivery of their ongoing technical transformation, working on projects with a focus towards providing Architecture Solutions to Complex Projects.
They are going through a period of significant change and transformation with Technology the key enabler and at the heart of this huge programme. This Lead Architect will be joining the company at very early stages in this programme of work, engaging with Key Stakeholders, understand requirements, and presenting solutions to the board to be considered.
Key Experience and Skills:
Must be Technology Agnostic Experience in Enterprise Architecture Demonstrate a broad understanding of a variety of technologies, within depth experience in providing Complex Solutions for Enterprise systems Responsible for developing and maintaining an Enterprise Architecture practice Developing architectural blueprints and high-level designs that align to the technology strategy Design and Technically validate a number of Digital Solutions, ensuring that the end solution is fit for purpose, can be delivered against the business needs and are architected appropriately for the longer term strategic needs of the business Experience in understanding a customer’s requirements, going to market to understand what options they have and having the ability to present back the findings, along with a solution in very challenging environments Developing architectural artefacts to support Technology Architecture team, including baseline and target architectures, building blocks and design patterns Defining and agreeing timescales and delivering against those expectations High level Implementation plans and costing essential You will be actively engaging in identifying and shaping new solutions and processing techniques within the business Experience in working within the NHS a distinct advantage Experience of reviewing and implementing PAS (Patient Administration Systems) and EPR (Electronic Patient Records) systems An advantage Experience of working for a Consultancy, and dealing with challenging stakeholders is essential My customer are based in Manchester, and you will be required to work from their offices on a regular basis so that you are sat with the team dealing with this work – please only apply if this can be achieved.
