|Test Manager - Automation - Cardiff - Up to £50,000 + Benefits
One of the world's top organisations within their field are looking to bolster their multicultural IT team with a talented Test Manager who has a high-level of experience of test automation.
As the Test Manager, you will be responsible for growing the automation test function by working collaboratively with manual testers, 3rd parties and external vendors in order to maintain the automation frameworks as the project matures. You'll play a key role in ensuring that test plans and strategies are fit-for-purpose and appropriately implemented.
In this senior position, you will monitor and report on all vendor QA activities, working with them directly to drive continuous process improvement. As the Test Manager, you'll also act as a mentor to existing team members, being the first point of call as the automation experience is built.
The suitable candidate will have previous experience of managing test teams, as well a solid understanding of the whole project delivery and test lifecycles. You will have proven experience of software testing management on large concurrent projects, with an excellent understanding of the SDLC.
From a technical perspective, as the Test Manager it is essential that you have strong experience with Selenium, Java and Maven
For this role you will need to be highly organised with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt and work effectively to new development methodologies. You will thrive working in a team environment alongside a diverse team of talented software testers.
