Systems (ERP) Developer / Administrator – SAP Business One environment

Full Time Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm

Circa £45k pa + benefits and flexible working

Location –SK6 2SN - Stockport

About the opportunity

This is your chance to join a growing, forward thinking technology business and be our in-house systems expert to help enable our success through the development and maintenance of systems.

We’re looking for an ERP & SQL developer to be hands-on with our systems, working closely with the wider business to develop, integrate and optimise our platforms to improve business performance and efficiency.

The day to day work involves:

• Consulting and collaborating with our teams to understand business requirements; translating those into feasible technical solutions incorporating system integration points, database structures and queries/views, workflows, automated procedures, reporting, dashboards….

• Designing, configuring, testing and implementing system solutions to resolve problems and improve efficiency

• Developing and implementing the integration between SAP Business One and the company’s other platforms

• Designing, implementing and maintaining complex integrated SQL database systems

• Designing reporting systems to enable users to run queries and access real time business performance data through dashboards

• Preparing and maintaining the necessary technical documentation; to include system design specifications and the core processes and procedures

• End User training for team members

• Setting and maintaining user permissions to ensure appropriate system security

• Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system problems and deploy fixes and upgrades (including testing)

Your experience:

• Customising and supporting mainstream ERP systems and enabling API / SQL integration with external systems

• Using best practice methodologies for business analysis and process re-engineering

• Working to defined change management and control protocols

• Working in a small business environment

• Competent user of MS Office suite, including Visio

• Full, clean driving licence (essential)

Specific system / technical knowledge:

• Knowledge of SAP Business One and the Boyum Usability package, Orbis Task Centre, Crystal Reporting and Office 365 would be a distinct advantage

• Advanced Coding, programming, designing, operating and maintenance

• Expert SQL report writing skills ideally with the SAP Business One database
