|Responsible for all aspects of supporting the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems in use, as well as the functional teams and processes that use them. Works closely with the Finance function globally as well as the Corporate Finance FP&A and Consolidations teams ensuring that the systems achieve expected results in Planning, Management Reporting, and HFM (Consolidations). Actively participates in the functional adoption and continuous improvement lifecycle of the EPM systems through work with stakeholders to interpret business needs and issues, effectively translating them to actionable requirements. Identifies process change opportunities and risks. Influences future application enhancements. Monitors service requests, incidents and projects and ensures that they are completed in a timely and high quality manner. This individual will apply functional as well as technical competence, business process knowledge with proven analytical and problem-solving skills to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Is fully proficient in the end user functional processes performed within the supported applications. • Prepares and delivers effective communications to key Finance constituents. • Provides end-user system training as needed. • Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems/technologies and develops strategies for improving or leveraging these systems. Research, identify and propose best practices. • Reviews requests for services / improvements and partners with business stakeholders, clarifies objectives, determines feasibility and jointly determines business implications / value. • Considers business applications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Defines functional and system requirements accordingly. • Ensures that any new software integration meets functional/ end user requirements, compliance and interface specifications, and proper documentation is maintained. Defines functional / system requirements and documents current / future state business processes. • Develops effective test scenarios, scripts and use cases with consideration to cross functional and process stream impact. • Analyzes formal test results in order to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws. • Performs application system administration functions specific to application setup, configuration and maintenance. • Oversees small projects and/or tasks and phases of larger projects. Responsible for coordinating activities of teams, schedules and resources for assigned tasks or projects. • Maintains strong working relationships with project team members, internal finance customers, and external service vendors. • Performs system, process and application monitoring and gathers metrics. • Carries out procedures to ensure that information systems products and services meet quality, organization standards and end user requirements. • Provides expertise and problem resolution to functional departments when issues extend outside the knowledge of the departmental Key Users or Subject Matter Experts. • Prioritizes initiatives based on discussions with key stake holders • Manages the IS delivery of training curriculum and materials, and shares responsible for overall technology adoption, ensuring sufficient systems training for functional users on existing and new software. • Monitors and reviews service requests to ensure services are delivered to SLA and customer satisfaction. EDUCATION Minimum 5-8 years of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management suite experience, including systems support and administration and/or developments of Hyperion applications in an 11.x environment. Life Sciences experience preferred. EXPERIENCE Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. College Degree in Finance or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education, experience, credentials (CPA) also a strong plus
