|Our Client, based in Worcester, are looking for a Technical project Manager to add to their team. Reporting to the Head of Software Technical Project Management, the purpose of the role is to manage technical processes and teams along with using technical skills to provide the necessary environment for project success. The successful candidate must have experience (5years+) working in an Agile Environment managing multiple teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases - Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively - Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation - Identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and manage software and hardware availability - Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place - Task allocation and performance evaluation of team members - Project scheduling and resource management - Planning, budgeting and reporting on projects - Risk identification and management - Make presentations on project status, present monthly and annual reports to senior management - Meet with client teams and gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings and track project progress - Estimate project budgets, coordinate with finance department for funds and plan for purchasing of equipment and hardware in a cost-effective way - Provide an efficient working atmosphere to project teams and ensure objectives are met within stipulated time
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements. - 3 years or more Technical Project Management or Project Management experience in the Software Delivery Area and have experience of delivering. - Proven Project Management experience in a customer facing role. - Experience in delivery of enterprise level schedules - Demonstrable experience of operating within an Agile environment
QUALIFICATIONS - 5years+ Experience in Project Management and Agile Development lifecycles, methodology and standards - Project Management qualifications such as PMI (pmp, ACP etc), PRINCE2, or APM (advantage)
