SERVICE DESK ADMINISTRATOR / BRIGHTON / 6 MONTH FTC / £17,550 - £23,033 DOE (PRO RATA) One Family have an exciting opportunity for a technically minded Service Desk Administrator to join us, on a 6 Month Contract. You will be joining a vibrant organisation, with a fantastic working environment. We are looking for a Service Desk Administrator to act as the first point of contact for the business needs – trouble shooting, diagnosing and resolving incidents first time (or escalating to 2nd/3rd line support specialists). Key Responsibilities of the Service Desk Administrator: - Ownership of the IT Service Desk mailbox sending and responding to emails, to users/engineers and 3rd parties - Dealing with incoming faults in a professional manner over the phone, email and face to face - Taking ownership of faults and managing them in a logical methodical manner - Logging incidents/request, categorising and prioritising them in line with team procedures - Conducting full and through diagnostics with the end user/customer to enable FTF - Ensuring all faults are progressed and cleared within SLA – Escalating to other internal and external teams as appropriate - Managing faults through their entire lifecycle from the first point of contact through to resolution, proactively keeping the customer informed of progress - Diagnosing and resolving problems to the customers need and their satisfaction - Identify and escalate repeat issues or service RISK into service management team - Manage several scheduled tasks for customers, to ensure that customers systems remain operational Skills & Experience Required: - Familiar with working on Windows 2007, 2008 and 2010 and Apple OS - A keen interest in networking and WAN technology - Solid experience in a helpdesk/service desk or technical support environment - Must be able to demonstrate a customer first approach to support - Proven knowledge of IT Best Practices and processes in support of a production environment in a Regulated Financial Services environment - Ability to work under pressure to meet business critical deadlines and SLAs - DESIRABLE – CCNA, MCSA, FCNSA, RHCSA, ITIL In return, the Service Desk Administrator can expect; - Competitive salary – Up to £23,033 (Dependent on Experience – Pro Rata) - Pension Plan, Life Assurance & Private Healthcare - Access to benefits portal with over 6,000 discounts or cash-back offers - Fantastic working environment, with real career progression What’s Next?
