|Elevation Business Support are currently supporting a fast growing, IT software company with the recruitment of a newly created role due to their growth. The Application Software Implementation Consultant will support the customer with their tailored requirements, relaying to the development designers as to how their bespoke package will work for them.
The ideal candidate(s) will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivering or supporting accounting software or web-based procurement products on behalf of a software manufacturer at a software vendor or at a major UK accounting software reseller or system integrator.
Experience of dealing with high volumes of concurrent projects and working alone under delivery and time pressure is essential. A basic technical background in MS SQL Server and confidence working on deployed cloud and on-premise web applications is required although you will be supported by a team of technical consultants/DBAs to assist with integrations and more complex database tasks.
You will need to demonstrate exceptional levels of technical and application skills as well as the ability to hold a room and present the best solutions that you have to offer. The ability to learn fast along with the ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team and ability to manage high workloads are key requirements. This person also needs to easily adapt to a constantly changing environment.
As with all client-facing roles, the work required will vary from time-to-time, the key areas of responsibility for our implementation consultants are as follows:
• Undertaking projects to implement our cloud and web-based software • Carrying out onsite workshops with small and large groups of key stakeholders to understand requirements and gather key configuration data and reporting needs • Installing and configuring our web-based software either in the cloud or on premise • Liaising with project management from initial sales handover following detailed scoping documents through to go live with complex task co-ordination and change management procedures • Carrying out training of our application procedures to end users and super users/administrators • Interacting with Middle Level and Senior Managers across various clients Working to tight deadlines • Retain ownership of client project working with our project managers through to go-live and handover to our Support team.
Please note this is an office-based role in Doncaster and doesn’t offer any remote working options. Please ensure you can commit to being in the office Monday – Friday and are within a commutable distance
