|Computer Support Engineer
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum plus pension and healthcare
Location: Speke, Liverpool (L24)
Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm with occasional requirement to work 10am-7pm

Our client, an award-winning IT support business are aimed at managing the whole IT process for small to medium enterprises with a huge focus on customer service. They are currently looking for a Computer Support Engineer to join their continuously expanding team.
This is an opportunity to join the technical support team as a mid-level engineer primarily for 2nd/3rd line support. You will use the latest support technology to provide outstanding service to their client base of small and medium sized businesses
You will take calls and handle a wide variety of technical issues and on occasions handle projects such as new server installs from inception to installation and client sign-off.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Experienced in providing computer support to small businesses Strong communication skills – confidence and a positive mental attitude is key The ability to really listen and understand customers’ needs and to keep them informed and calm at all times PC hardware fault-finding, repair and maintenance General PC and laptop troubleshooting Hardware and software experience together with experience of peripherals and accessories. Particularly in relation to fault diagnosis Upgrading hardware, cloning drives, copying and backing-up data Installation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and 7 Microsoft Office – all current versions LAN/WAN/Wifi/Internet networking maintenance and fault analysis/resolution Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and later Active Directory/GPO Office 365/POP/SMTP mail A full, clean driving licence
