Job Description
Application Support Engineer required by Hampshire based software firm to provide client support and customer service for their suite of software products, being the first point of contact. Exceptional opportunity for a 1st/2nd Service Desk Analyst with basic experience supporting software products looking to step up into full application support environment, learning how to maintain and monitor AWS, gain specialist software product skills, even scripting and basic coding with Ruby and JavaScript.

Must have experience solving various IT issues; including things like app support, custom data systems, cloud tech, etc. Should be an enthusiastic technologist with a keen interest in problem solving / troubleshooting within a software support environment.

Key skills:

* Application Support Engineer - 1st/2nd Service Desk Analyst

* Software support and general IT Skills

* Ability to track and problem solve IT issues; incident and problem management

* Interest in software support and development overall; understanding how web and mobile applications work

* Troubleshooting and break-fix

* Keen to work with AWS

* Previous experience within an IT Technical Support helpdesk role

* Big picture and out of box thinker

Must be willing to share knowledge and work collaboratively alongside various teams, be proactive and enjoy problem solving.
