Job Description
A Junior Project Manager is required by a leading household name based in Basingstoke, where you will be required to project manage the implementation of tactical projects, primarily IT Application and Infrastructure projects, across all channels ensuring strong management control over risks, issues, scope and approved budgets and communication with key stakeholders.

The role would suit someone who has a few years experience working in a Project Management capacity, within a IT environment and more specifically focused on delivering against Software application projects. This position is not just constrained to tactical projects. Appropriate strategic projects are included based to support the job holder’s development.

As the Junior Project Manager you will be managing application development projects (e.g. new products, new services, new capabilities), producing project plans that cover end to end delivery of the project and creating and managing a Risk Register including identifying risk mitigation actions. You will also be managing stakeholder’s expectation at a senior management level and providing progress reports and presenting at Steering Groups attended by Directors.

As the Junior Project Manager with a few years experience working in a similar role you will also have the following: - Proven record of personally being responsible for end to end delivery of application development projects and working with IT development teams - Experience of working with different project delivery methodologies g. Agile, Waterfall - Managing projects to budget and creating and managing project plans - Personally responsible for managing scope, risks, and issues - Strong communication skills, coupled with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
