Job Description
This is an Oracle EBS Developer role responsible for providing technical expertise across Enterprise Systems (both current and future): bug fixing, system changes and enhancements, ad-hoc queries, project initiatives to support system process enhancements. The role enables the business to fix issues in house and develop our strategic system to enable business processes and support our internal users.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Principles: • Provide support for the Enterprise Systems, the business processes they support, working to resolve any issues alongside the Enterprise Technical Team, our key users and 3rd party support partners • Support business users with data queries and bug fixing in the following Oracle modules: Accounts Receivable, Service Contracts, Installed Base, Advanced Collections, Advanced Pricing and core financials • Bug fix and continue to develop customisations in the following solutions: SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI/XML Publisher, Workflow, XML Gateway, OAF, Unix Shell Scripting, JAVA Script, Discoverer • Provide support to future Enterprise Systems as and when they come on line • Successfully deliver system changes and enhancements to improve business processes and provide the right tools for the job of our users, working with our Managed Service provider where appropriate. • To create and maintain system documentation that supports IT and the business requirements. • Follow change process to promote fixes and changes in line with business priorities and the team work load. • You will need to apply your breadth of systems knowledge and software development experience to ensure your solutions are timely, value-adding and clearly understood. By adopting a collaborative approach with your peers you will need to use effective analysis and interpersonal skills to interpret business requirements and issues. • To ensure all support calls and communication are logged within our ManageEngine Service Desk and JIRA tools, respond to support calls within agreed SLA targets in a professional and courteous manner, and escalate calls internally or externally • To create and maintain system documentation, which supports IT and the business requirements.

Standard: • Engage with other business functions to identify requirements for new initiatives that drive improvements across our core systems • Follow change process to promote fixes and changes in line with business priorities and the team’s workload. • Develop excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues through strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Principles • Provide expertise in developing solutions using the below technologies: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Ebs R12, Oracle RDBMS 12C, AWS Redshift • Systems to support: Oracle RDBMS, Oracle EBS, BI Solution, Bespoke Maintenance Solution • Balance and prioritise tasks between project support and business as usual

Standard • Work with the BI Manager, Enterprise Functional Analysts, Oracle Technical / Functional Analysts and with our third party suppliers to support and develop the Enterprise Systems KEY REQUIREMENTS Principles • Significant experience of Oracle technical solutions: SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI/XML Publisher, Workflow (typically gained through a minimum of 7 years’ experience) • Experience of a wide breadth of Oracle Modules (refer to Module list in the Key Areas of Accountability above) • Knowledge and experience of providing support and analysis for Oracle EBS R12 • Experience of supporting and delivering IT change and IT projects • Ability to liaise comfortably with key stakeholders • Experience in cloud technologies • AWS Redshift database experience

• SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS experience • Experience of Oracle technical solutions • Experience of supporting and delivering IT change and IT projects • Ability to liaise comfortably with key stakeholders • Ability to effectively prioritise • Ability to work in a team and on own initiative • Experience of using a call logging system • Previous experience of working as a Systems Analyst to ensure that key business systems are aligned with, and provide support for, key business processes
