If so then read on as a leading US player is looking to grow their UK operation by adding a new business sales representative to their team selling a leading range of online business information and analytics services in to the Automotive marketplace.

Job Title - Business Development Manager Industry - Business Information / Analytics / Consultancy - Automotive Location - London Package - £90,000 OTE + Benefits

The Role As the Business Development Manager, you will be primarily focused on developing new business on the phone and face to face using a consultative sales approach. Our client offers a range of Intellectual Property (IP) consultancy services focused around analytics/data/business intelligence and looking for someone to corner their Automotive market. This role has come about due to phenomenal growth and our client has also just moved to newer and bigger offices in London. This role will also include account management and you will be given some large automotive clients to build relationships with.

The Candidate You will be a successful, articulate sales professional that can demonstrate a successful track record of new business generation within a consultancy or business intelligence sales environment. Experience selling into the Automotive market is essential. Therefore, candidates from consultancy houses such as Gartner, Frost & Sullivan, IHS, Jato etc would be highly desirable. This is a f2f sales role so you must be presentable, and able to conduct yourself professionally as you will be dealing with senior Directors within these customers.

The Package On offer is a base salary of between £45,000-£60,000 depending on experience, pension, health and uncapped OTE £80,000-£90,000 with an accelerator once you surpass your target which is very realistic based on other members of the team being regularly over target. Also on offer is a recognised training program as well working with a company that is growing and promotes from within so this could be the first step on the career ladder of a very successful business.
