Job Description: The Internal IT Support Engineer will provide 1st line support to internal staff and clients when required. They require an aptitude for working with applications / systems to undertake analysis, diagnostics and resolution of IT problems. There are a range of administration duties within this role including concise logging of all reported issues into the ticket logging system. Communicating and escalating when necessary to 2nd and 3rd line IT support engineers.

As a 1st Line IT Support you will be responsible for:

Candidate Requirements: Logging IT tickets and solving problems which occur within the user environment. Complete business projects efficiently and on time. Visiting remote sites when necessary in order to solve problems or further analyse. Take ownership of IT tickets and ensure delivery within SLA. Adhere to the Companys Health & Safety policy including monitoring all business workstations Complete activities to achieve role KPIs such as tickets, orders, e-mails, phone calls etc. Ensuring that team administration tasks are completed in a timely manner (e.g. order forms, Ticketings, documentation), and followed to the Companys ISO standards. Ensure that you follow the company HR processes e.g. sickness, holidays, expenses. Actively build relationship with users, suppliers and colleagues as required Exceptional time keeping and working to deadlines. Assist in resolving user issues and queries, identifying when issues are going to have an impact on performance and need to be escalated to the 2nd & 3rd line or Managers Working with the IT Support Team Leader to ensure there is business continuity within your team, should anyone be absent from work Stock Management, ensuring levels of stock are continuously replenished to meet business needs Respond to user queries in a timely manner and in line with SLAs Complete Daily and Departmental Checks Maintenance and roll out of desktops Ensure that the build room and stock cabinets are kept to a high standard and presentable manner When required, complete weekend/out of hours work Ad-hoc activities (i.e. any reasonable request) as determined by the IT Support Team Leader Deliver performance for your area including: Meet process SLAs including raising tickets, communication with clients and fault resolutions Ensure that new implementations are delivered in accordance with the agreed Project Plan

Job Additional Information: The ideal Internal IT Support candidate will be:

Computer literate, able to support Office package 2010+ to an intermediate level Excellent communication skills including face-to-face, telephone and e-mail Ability to write to ‘A’ level English standard User facing skills Ability to work as part of a team Attention to detail Basic networking knowledge Windows OS Knowledge. Windows 7+. Intermediate Hardware/Software troubleshooting on desktops As an Internal IT Support Engineer you will have:

IT Support experience Experience of supporting users with Windows based PC’s MCDP (disirable) IT degree and/or College level IT Accreditation (disirable)
