We have an opportunity available for a Project Support Analyst to join our IT Department at our Head Office in Bradford. You will join us on a full time permanent basis, working in the project support team of 5 and in return you will receive a competitive salary, plus benefits. The role may include occasional travel to other sites when required which may require overnight stays.

About our Project Support Analyst role

Reporting to the Project Support Team Leader, the main purpose of this role is to work as part of a team responsible for working with the wider business to define system requirements, functionally test and train end users on new releases of bespoke software solutions and produce documentation & training materials.

You will provide first line support expertise, investigating and wherever possible resolving incidents reported back to the IT Helpdesk. You will also provide analysis of incidents and issues into the Development team to support 3rd line resolution of defects.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities of our Project Support Analyst;

- Working in an extremely agile and responsive environment to help create & deliver top quality bespoke software solutions

- Be responsible for end-to-end functional testing and sign-off user stories

- Investigating and resolving issues reported to the IT Helpdesk on a rota basis

- Working together with the team to ensure all tasks are being completed in order of priority

- Take part in the sprint process to track work and ensure all projects are completed effectively

- Own issues raised via helpdesk, define solutions for end users and provide analysis for the 3rd line development resolution

- Create demonstration videos showing users how to use new features in real time

- Perform regression testing to ensure updates have not affected any other areas of the systems

- Work directly with end users to resolve issues at source where possible

- Be aware of and strive to meet Service Level Agreements for issue resolution

- Provide functional acceptance of user requirements and ensure bespoke solutions are fit for purpose

- Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in the User Experience

To become a Project Support Analyst you must have the following skills and experience:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Able to confidently articulate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience

- String attention to detail underpinned by a genuine quality focus

- Intermediate office skills (Excel, Word, Visio, Skype, Outlook)

- Exposure to MS SQL or similar

- Experience of, or exposure to, test automation tolls (e.g. Selenium)

- Knowledge of warehousing processes and logistics

- Able to act on urgent requirements at short notice, including off site visits
