Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to be part of an exciting business transformation programme that will transform the business operating model and technology landscape.

This opportunity would suit an energetic and professional individual who has the ability to work in a complex and dynamic finance/change department. The role requires a candidate with proven experience of business change and process analysis, a sound financial footing and systems experience to support the implementation of a new enterprise wide ERP.

What you will do…

* Be a key stakeholder and contributor to the wider Finance Change roadmap - helping to identify, and then be responsible for, delivering finance system, process and data requirements as part of the broader change portfolio. * Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes (eg P2P, O2C, R2R) with the ability to reflect these in a technical system requirement * Leading finance support for business projects which have an impact on finance systems through the full project lifecycle. * Champion the importance of establishing and maintaining an exceptional level of data quality. * Identify opportunities for, and oversee delivery of, the Continuous Improvement (CI) of finance systems operations. * Ensure that finance processes and procedures are documented and support the wider finance community, in particular with regards to KPIs, finance drivers and monthly finance reporting. * Strong cross-functional working and relationship building and comfortable with matrix management. * Working with colleagues to assess business challenges, analysing and defining need from want, and defining requirements to maximise the effectiveness of developments and change. * Interpret and prioritise business requirements ensuring these are aligned to corporate strategy * Be an integral part of the business transformation, leading some of the process, data and system requirements through to implementation; testing, delivery and change.

What you will have…

* Achieved (or studying towards) an accounting qualification (AAT, ACA, CIMA, ACCA etc.)

* Familiar with project management and business analysis methodologies and processes

* Good understanding of business process improvement within finance

* Previous experience of implementing ERP systems in a large scale transformation programme with a business change and operational focus

* Experience of Lean methodologies is desirable
